Introduction

Prosper Infra is a Dubai, United Arab Emirates-based construction company. The clients are from Dubai, Oman, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. This company builds large projects in the residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial sectors. With a large workforce and many labourers, there is a constant need for them to communicate and connect to various people in the company to cross-verify and update the progress of the projects. Prosper Infrastructure has been in the construction industry for a couple of decades now, and digitising their process has been time-consuming, affecting their efficiency and productivity.

Challenges

Handling such a huge company involves an iterative process of designing, building, and dealing with client meetings and follow-up communication within the organisation. It became increasingly difficult for them to keep track of all the communication happening, and it was a never-ending struggle to switch between applications for different functions. The organisation has used Discord for the majority of their interactions. With the various features available on this platform, they've faced recurring issues with connectivity when trying to join through different devices, which did not work the best for them, compromising flexibility.  Subscribing to and engaging with several apps like Zoom for video conferencing, Loom for video editing, and Google Drive and Dropbox for additional storage of files have incurred added costs, making it expensive to manage and juggle between several applications.
